As a member of Fannie Mae’s western regional loss mitigation team, Karen approved hundreds of mortgage loan loss mitigation cases. She holds BA and MA degrees in English from the University of Nevada, Reno.

While there, she worked at the university’s Sanford Center for Aging advocating for issues and public policy impacting seniors.
